Lance Armstrong Wins In Aspen

He could not help himself.  As an Aspen homeowner, Lance Armstrong entered the Smuggler Hunter Creek race without much fanfare.  He was in town and had nothing better to do.  The news had already leaked-out that he was coming out of retirement and would compete in the 2009 Tour de France.  He won in 58-minutes on his mountain bike.  No massive crowds awaited him at the finish line.  Lance was racing out of enjoyment not for fame.  His stated objective in coming out of retirement is to expand his fight against cancer to the global arena.  He sees his racing as the vehicle to bring global attention to his cause of finding a cure for cancer.  Pay it forward Lance!  http://www.livestrong.org
