Winter Park Visitor Gondola

Maybe I got the wrong photo, but the Winter Park Ski Resort has got the right idea.  In an effort to enhance the experience of the Winter Park Ski Resort guest and reduce bus and vehicle traffic not to mention greenhouse gases, the ski resort is constructing an open-air gondola between the Vintage Hotel and the main visitor parking lot and the ski resort Village chairlift area.  Once completed in time for the 2008-2009 ski season which opens November 16th, the gondola will operate year-around ushering summer visitors for hiking, biking and other family activities.  The planners of this idea are lookng particularly brilliant given the rising cost of fuel.  Great idea!
