Snowmass Employee Housing

If you ask locals what Snowmass Village problems there are, they will likely tell you that employee housing tops the list.  Town Council has retained outside consultants to conduct a housing study to see how bad it is.  Very few Snowmass workers live in free-market housing.  Seventy-percent live in some form of employee housing through the Snowmass housing office, deed-restricted housing or the Aspen Skiing Co.  Town Council is also hoping to come up with ideas to handle the seasonal housing demands as employment ranks swell during the ski season.
