Boulder Colorado Creek Path

Beginning in the mountains just west of Boulder, the Boulder Creek Path wanders approximately 6-miles following Boulder Creek through the City of Boulder.  The path begins in Boulder Canyon near the Fourmile Canyon intersection as a dirt and gravel trail.  Upon entering the City of Boulder, the path becomes paved until it ends at 55th Street near the Stazio Ballfields.  The path is maintained jointly by the City of Boulder Public Works Departments and the Parks and Recreation Department including snow plowing in the winter.

The Boulder Creek Path passes through Eben G. Fine Park on its way to Boulder’s Central Park.  The path continues past the Boulder Public Library and within 2-blocks of the Pearl Street Mall.  The Boulder County Farmers’ Market is held adjacent to the Creek Path in Downtown Boulder as well.

The path is enjoyed by pedestrians, bicyclists, joggers, roller bladders and cross country skiers in-training.  You will not be alone.  Along the way, you will find a variety of city parks as well as the occasional park bench along the path.  Much of the Boulder Creeek Path is lined with trees offering shade in the summer.  This is one of Boulder’s Crown Jewels for sure.
