Pearl Street is and has been the heart of Boulder’s downtown for 150-years.  In the mid-1980’s, four-blocks of Pearl Street were closed to vehicular traffic and converted into an open-air pedestrian mall.  Although the Pearl Street Mall begins at 11th Street and goes east, the “West End” begins at 11th Street and travels west on Pearl Street.  Here you will find proud historic Victorian houses as well as newly constructed homes.  You will also find a few condos, lofts and townhomes.

Why is the West End on the top of the list for many home buyers?  The European sense of community with the neighborhood grocer, wine shop, bakery, apothecary, garden shop, cafes and more.  Don’t start your engines — just take a walk.
