Neighborhood Profile

Colorado Chautauqua has been in continuous operation since 1898 and is one of three surviving Chautauqua’s in the United States. The neighborhood this facility and associated open space is known as Chautauqua.

You will find mansions, bungalows and cottages dating back to the late 1800’s. Most of the homes were constructed before 1930.

The streets are lined with 100-year old trees with each house different. The old world charm is comforting.

Chautauqua Park is a daily destination for many whether a gentle hike or a climb up the face of one of the Flatiron faces. A ranger station is available in the park for information and guidance.

Walk or bike north to the West End of Pearl Street with a variety of restaurants, coffee shops, cafes, shopping and more.

Colorado Chautauqua has an auditorium for concerts, intellectual symposiums and more. The Chautauqua Dining Hall is an able restaurant to complete your evening outing.
