Happy 150th Birthday Breckenridge!

Welcome to Breckenridge — established 1859.  Gold established Breckenridge in 1859 when it was discovered along the Blue River running through Breckenridge.  The Gold Pan Saloon was also established in 1859.  The gold boom busted, but the Gold Pan Saloon is still in business as the longest continuously operating bar west of the Mississippi.  If [...]

Nine-thousand Ski Magazine subscribers responded to the 2008 annual survey ranking ski resorts.  The following Colorado ski resorts were among the Top Ten ski resorts in Western North America:

#2 - Vail
#4 - Aspen
#5 - Snowmass
#7 - Breckenridge
#9 - Steamboat Springs
