Steamboat Springs - Home Of Champagne Powder

The Yampatika Utes summered in the Yampa Valley for generations.  French trappers arrived in the early 1880s.  Routt County is home to over 150 natural springs, not all hot.  Legend has it that a French trapper was reminded of a steamboat when he heard one of the area springs “chugging”.

Steamboat Springs - Edgemont Condos

Construction has begun on the luxury condominiums at Edgemont and will continue through the winter season.  Over one-half of the 42 condos in the first phase of the project sold during the May 30th introductory sales event.  The units are expected to be completed for occupancy in early 2010.
